GLIMMERVIEL — Fairy markets finished higher Monday after inspectors reported an unusually strong weekend for clean and well-preserved molars.

The Molar Quality Index climbed 12 sparkle points, pulling the wider Fairy Exchange Index back above the Royal Benchmark to 6.14.

The decision followed the Treasury’s monthly meeting inside the Hall of Quiet Calculations, where officials reviewed tooth deposits, courier expenses, pixie-dust prices, pillow accessibility, and current levels of childhood anticipation.

Royal Treasurer Minerva Mooncoin said the existing benchmark continues to provide a fair and easily understood reference for families throughout the realm.

“A tooth should be a joyful milestone, not a complicated financial negotiation,” Mooncoin said following the meeting.

The Fairy Exchange Index may continue to move above or below the benchmark as market conditions change. However, the Ministry emphasized that the index is an indicator of fairy-market activity—not an instruction for individual households.

Parents and guardians remain permitted to submit unusual circumstances to the Office of Special Exchanges, including exceptionally late collections, multiple-tooth deposits, and teeth accidentally swallowed before filing.

NORTH GLIMMERVIEL — The price of flight-grade pixie dust rose nearly 19 percent Thursday after three major mines temporarily suspended operations to allow a herd of migrating unicorns to pass safely through the region.

Pixie dust is used by most licensed tooth fairies for takeoff, rooftop navigation, emergency hovering, and the difficult final turn into a bedroom.

Market observers initially worried that the higher costs could place pressure on the Fairy Exchange Index. The Royal Treasury quickly announced that it would cover additional flight expenses using reserves from the Emergency Sparkle Fund.

“No fairy should have to choose between completing a collection and respecting a unicorn crossing,” said Transportation Secretary Luma Thistledown.

The migration is expected to last four nights. Couriers have been advised to conserve dust by avoiding unnecessary loops, midair twirls, and dramatic chimney entrances.

No interruption to ordinary tooth service is expected.

The latest forecast suggests couriers may complete as many as 1.3 million collections over the weekend, with the busiest activity expected between midnight and 3:00 a.m.

Exchange officials have added extra staff at sorting centers and placed reserve fairies on standby. The Department has also asked families to keep bedroom floors reasonably clear of building blocks, toy cars, and other objects classified as “extreme nighttime landing hazards.”

Despite the optimistic forecast, analysts warned that markets could still be affected by sudden storms, curious pets, or children attempting to remain awake and catch a fairy in the act.
